When you were high school sweethearts and had been together for 9 years there comes a time when a wedding is almost a foregone conclusion. Kim and Ron met in high school, have been boyfriend and girlfriend since senior year and were approaching their 9th year of being together and they sealed the deal with a wonderful wedding on a beautiful Fall day in October.
Here’s what Kim had to say about her dress and her preparation:
“My dress was bought from ‘I do-I do’ in Morristown and the designer is Essense of Australia. It was full of lace and lots of tulle! It has a deep V-neckline and was accented beautifully with long lace sleeves!!
Nicole was my makeup and hair artist from Nicole Make Up and Hair. We did an updo with a crystal hair piece in the back and a fingertip veil! For my makeup, I stayed neutral. She did an airbrush application on me and then just your basic lipstick, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and some blush!”
The wedding ceremony was at Our Lady of the Lake in Verona, NJ. The couple had some interesting transportation available to them at the church – Engine 372 from the local fire department where Ron is a volunteer fireman!
Flowers for the wedding party were provided by Cindy of The Floral Gallery (www.floralgallerynj.com)
The reception was held at the Rock Island Lake Club in Sparta. The Rock Island Lake Club (www.rockislandlakeclub.com) is one of North Jersey’s premier wedding destinations and one of our favorites. You can read more about it here: http://craigcollinsphoto.com/2017/09/29/jersey-wedding-venues-kind-couple/
The entertainment at the Rock Island Lake Club was provided by Global Productions (www.globalprodj.com)
