Cynthia and Chris were married on May 29th, with a ceremony and reception at the Patriot Hills Golf Club in Stony Point, NY.
This wedding was especially fun because Chris is the nephew of my second shooter, Caron, so there was a wonderful personal connection there.
At the beginning of the day, Cynthia and Chris got ready at the Double Tree Hotel. We drove Chris and his best man and cousin, Terence, down to the venue, while Cynthia got dressed in the bridal suite. Then, we had a first look in front of the clubhouse and took bridal party photos before the ceremony itself. I absolutely loved the photos we were about to get of the two of them on the hill with views of the Hudson River in the background.
After the ceremony, one of my favorite moments was when Megan, Cynthia’s best friend and maid of honor, made her toast. She gave the two of them a lottery ticket that she had filled out with numbers that were significant in some way to their relationships.
I also loved the band, Almost Easy Band. They were not the typical wedding band—playing classic rock as well as traditional dancing music, and some of my favorite images from the ceremony came from the bride and groom rocking out with the band.
Cynthia & Chris, thank you so much for letting me be part of your day! You were all such good sports despite the heat and humidity, and I feel like we had a truly great time together!
