On April 29th, we had the opportunity to participate in Good Morning America’s Wide World of Weddings, an event that consisted of over 100 weddings in 24 hours while GMA did a live video stream of each wedding.

The weddings took place across locations such as Times Square, Las Vegas, Orlando, Scotland, and South Korea. We were chosen to work with GMA in New York as I photographed 9 weddings in about 9 hours. In between weddings, the live stream would go to other weddings or to another wedding-related story.

All of the couples that I had the opportunity to photograph were wonderful, and it was clear that they appreciated everything being done for them. They came from as far away as Kansas—as well as places like New Hampshire and New Jersey and Buffalo—and were chosen by entering a contest on GMA.

As part of this amazing opportunity, we were also interviewed by GMA host Lauren Lyster, and we got to work with hosts Linzie Janis, Diane Macedo, and Dancing With the Stars dancer Tony Dovolani. The officiants were Kevin Bain, Bettina Yiannakourou, and Sarah Ritchie.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to some of the amazing people that we were able to work with. Kleinfeld Bridal provided the gowns, and the Black Tux provided the tuxedos. Cindy from the Floral Gallery in nearby Chester, NJ went all-out making 20 bridal bouquets as well.

Special thanks to all the people that we worked with, from GMA and their wonderful hosts to producers Doug Vollmayer and Alison Kenworthy. Thank you so much for this unforgettable adventure!

And to all the couples we met, we wish you the best of luck in your future together!
