About Craig
Craig’s interest in photography did not begin until he was in college. After taking a class in black and white photography he became intrigued with the process of photography and began learning all he could. Soon he attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he earned his bachelors degree in photography with a strong emphasis on architectural photography. After school he worked for various commercial and architectural photographers where he learned more about lighting and operating a studio.
Over the years Craig continued his education at the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He has worked for various production studios where he was an assistant editor for shows that have appeared on The History Channel. His photographs have appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, Interior Design, The Star Ledger and New Jersey Monthly. His wedding images have appeared in New Jersey Bride, Manhattan Bride and 201 Bride Magazines.
Today, Craig splits his time between NY / NJ and Florida where he operates Craig Collins Photography.
